Joining St. Gregory the Great Parish
Greetings!
I’m Fr. Todd the pastor of St. Gregory the Great. If you are searching for a place to call your “faith home” then I
warmly invite you to consider us. Being a member of a parish is a vital step in helping US to serve you and helping
YOU to serve others. At St. Greg’s you will find serving others at the foundation of parish life. If you have a heart for
serving God’s people, there are countless ways for you to become involved.
By registering for our parish (below), you will enable the parish staff to get to know you better and to minister
to you—especially during a time of great need or a time of celebration such as baptisms and weddings, just to name
a few. In joining a parish, you become a part of something greater. You become a member of a community.
Simply put, we need one another. We need to know that we are not alone as we journey through life. Our presence at
Mass, even when we may not be aware of it, can be the one thing that helps another person make it through the week.
In an age when we tend to think “what is in it for me,” we need to know that God can and does use us to be a source
of encouragement and life for others. And he can do this even when we feel least like giving or feel we have nothing to offer.
When all is said and done, being a member of our parish is really about being willing to walk the journey of faith with others—
-we take some steps, we do our best and sometimes we fail at this, but then there are other people there on the journey with us
who are willing to help us up and begin again. I look forward to meeting you and I pray that you will find a lasting home here at St. Gregory the Great.
