Greetings! I am Michelle Zakula, and I have been the Pastoral Associate of St. Gregory the Great since 2013. Pastoral Care and Justice & Charity are two of my main ministries at St. Greg’s. I feel blessed to journey with people at all stages of life and to serve them during their deepest times of need. In addition to these ministries, you might also find me leading a lesson in the school or leading our new Growing in Grace Women’s Ministry!
I attended Alverno College for my teaching degree and later continued my education in religious studies at both Cardinal Stritch University and St. Francis Seminary.
My husband Dan and I have been blessed with two children–Sarah and Andrew. Andrew plays baseball and studies Economics/Finance at UW-Platteville. We love to cheer him on whenever we have the opportunity. Sarah is a media specialist for a local golf course and also owns her own photography business where she is incredibly successful and happy! She will be married in October 2022 (on the same date as our wedding anniversary!).
In my free time I enjoy reading, cooking/baking, arts & crafts, traveling, and spending time with my extended family and friends.
