Hello, my name is Tim Waldoch, and I am a new Permanent Deacon serving at St. Greg’s. I was ordained in September of 2018. I am married to Sue, and we have been members of the Parish since 1995, just before our oldest son started K4 at St. Greg’s Parish School. My current areas of ministry include serving at the altar and preaching, visiting and taking Holy Communion to parishioners who are homebound or in a nursing home/assisted living or hospital. I preside at occasional prayer services for our various Parish organizations. I teach Baptism preparation classes and have assisted with the Lighthouse religious education program. Sue and I also meet with engaged couples for the FOCCUS marriage preparation program.

Outside of St. Greg’s I am trying various ministries through the Archdiocese of Milwaukee, as a deacon typically serves both in the parish and outside of the parish for the Archdiocese.

Sue and I have three young adult children, Matt, Megan, and Aaron, who attended grade school at St. Greg’s. Sue grew up in Bay View and Greendale, and I grew up on 50th & Euclid, right between St. Greg’s and Blessed Sacrament, so I have been in the neighborhood most of my life, and Sue not far away. We met while attending UW-Milwaukee.

I hold a Bachelor of Business Administration from UW- Milwaukee with a double major in Finance and Real Estate/Urban Development. I also have a Master of Business Administration from Keller Graduate School of Management with an emphasis in Finance, Accounting, and Economics. I have over 30 years of financial management experience, spending a majority of my career in healthcare financial administration. Recently I shifted into a new direction and serve as Chief Mission Integration Officer for Ascension Wisconsin.

Outside of ministry or work you can find me in my vegetable and flower gardens, cooking, taking walks or investigating interesting new dining spots with Sue, riding my bike, and spending time with family and friends
